It feels like summer happened all within the last few weeks! In a short span of 4 weeks:
TWO Palm Springs trips were had (one with Jannelle Dawn, the other with my parents)
A.W. and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary 🥰
A.W. had a birthday
My cousin Lauren and I enjoyed a spa day at Glen Ivy Hot Springs

Jannelle Dawn had a much-needed solo getaway to Palm Springs. Like most moments in her life, I take it upon myself to insert my presence whenever I can 😬 Soooo, I arrived at the tail-end of her trip and immediately began relaxing alongside her. We watched trash TV, vented to one another about life, laid by the pool, ate good food, read, and enjoyed an AMAZING spa day (there was one point where I thought we got trapped in the steam room and had a quick, and hilarious, freak out).

11 years! A.W. and I celebrated 11 years of marriage. What a freaking treat, too. As per usual, we celebrated with the annual traditional gift, stainless steel being the 11-year gift. Therefore, I got A.W. an array of stainless steel items like Birkenstock clogs (stainless steel buckles), a Nixon watch (stainless steel backing), and a stainless steel insulated coffee mug from Yeti. He got me AN ELECTRIC GUITAR! How cool is that gift? Also, as usual, we love the Central Coast, so we spent our time in San Luis Obispo and had a lovely dinner (complete with complimentary champagne) at Nate’s on Marsh.

For my cousin Lauren’s birthday, we spent a cousin’s day at Glen Ivy Hot Springs. We both enjoyed massages and ALL of the pools. Even though the spa aspect of it was great, the best part was having an uninterrupted day full of catching up with my cousin ♥️

My dad wanted to go to Palm Springs, and so to Palm Springs we went! Originally, he had wanted to go to try Palm Springs specific food and stay a night or two. So he booked us rooms at The Arrive Hotel and it was AMAZING! However, we ended up largely relaxing and having a majorly enjoyable day by the pool. At the pool we were catered to with cold-soaked towels and frozen tajin grapes to beat the heat. We ended up staying largely around the hotel and visiting walkable places like Cartel Roasting Co., The Heyday, and viewing Liberacci’s house.
