Allan and I recently took a trip to Springville, CA!
We try to plan a few fun things during the Summer and after cabin hunting on Airbnb, we stumbled across The Ponderosa Lodge. If you’re looking to recharge, this place is perfect! I didn’t realize it at first, but this lodge is right down the street (literally 5 minutes by car) from the Christian summer camp I used to work at and attend. It was SUCH a huge part of my junior high/high school years! So, it was fun to share it with Allan.
We also visited the Trail of 100 Giants and hiked up to Dome Rock. It was pretty jarring seeing the charred trees from the recent wildfire, but we were grateful things like the trails and my childhood camp were saved! Other than that, we enjoyed frequenting the general store and restaurant downstairs, as well as chatting with the locals.
And last, but not least, this was my first time using my super 8mm camera…so enjoy my first go at filming on it!
