The early days of summer brought fun trips to Vegas for a fancy Tableau conference for Allan Wheeler, good hangs with good friends at the Fourth of July parade, family fun and camping at Launch Pointe, and Kernville for our 9th wedding anniversary.
In Vegas we were put up at the Mandalay Bay and enjoyed SUCH great food off the strip.
At Launch Pointe in Lake Elsinore, I was utterly SHOCKED to know this gem of a camping ground is in my hometown. To spend time with my family camping was seriously the best.
And lastly, we enjoyed our 9th anniversary at the River Willow Cabin in Kernville. Allan and I celebrate our anniversary each year with the traditional gift and this year’s gift was willow. I for sure thought this year’s gift was going to be so lame (or nonexistent), but then remembered this absolute beauty of a cabin. Also, my parents came up and enjoyed Kernville with us.
